Designing a user signup & onboarding flow for a professional networking app

My contributions & impact:
Proposed a designed character to complement the existing word mark, adding personality and warmth to the brand. Focused on clear communication of app value, added navigation options for error correction, and introduced friendlier copy based on user research. Enhanced the login flow by implementing a verification process to address user concerns about data security, added a "forgot passcode" feature, and ensured seamless navigation.
The Challenge: How might we shorten the signup process, demonstrate value to students during onboarding, and ensure users feel secure sharing their information with a newer startup?
The Outcome: The redesigned flows offer a streamlined signup experience with clear steps and friendly copy that immediately communicates app value. The onboarding process is welcoming and engaging, encouraging users to explore features. The login flow now includes verification for added security, addressing user concerns about data privacy. The addition of a character to the logo enhances brand identity while making the app feel approachable and trustworthy.
