Designing & conceptualizing a homemade spicy oil brand

The Challenge: How might I create a spicy oil brand that reflects the client’s personality while appealing to a trendy grocery store audience?
The Outcome: I built the Mamanero brand from start to finish, including logo design, packaging, print materials and developed a comprehensive brand strategy that aligns with the needs of the user. The visual identity is surrounding a playful bull illustration and color palette. I approached the design based on the clients identity: a mother, a taurus (zodiac) and a woman. Mamanero’s visual identity system perfectly balances fiery hot energy and femininity. And to emphasize the homemade feel, I hand-drew the typeface on the logo to resonate with the target demographic through market research I conducted on trendy grocery store shoppers.
