Redesigning the web experience for a Parkinson's wellness program

EMPOWER PARKINSONS

My roles: UI/UX Designer, Team lead

The Challenge: How might we redesign an existing site to make it (1) more mobile-friendly, (2) create a dedicated space for physicians to refer patients, and (3) improve calendar functionality for program users.

The Outcome: I designed and led the UI/UX team to complete a full web redesign for both mobile and desktop in under 48 hours. We focused on creating a clear site map and ensuring brand cohesion across all pages. We offered a new prototyped user interface and collaborated with the print team on iconography and photography to maintain consistency between web and print assets. The personas shaped our design process and helped us understand the primary audience: family members and friends of people living with Parkinson's disease, physicians, and donors/volunteers.

This redesign is LIVE!
