Develop a custom digital typeface that embodies the personality and passions of a design professor while maintaining usability and visual consistency across the system.

The project began with a close look at the subject’s unique inspirations and teaching style. Through observation and conversation, I discovered her deep love of horses — a theme that became central to the design’s identity. The resulting typeface, HOOVED, translates equine characteristics into typographic form through shapes inspired by hooves, necks, tails, and ears. Designed and refined entirely in Glyphs Mini, HOOVED balances expressive symbolism with structural integrity. To bring the project full circle, I 3D printed a favorite letter as a tangible tribute to her creative spirit.
